ACES Scholarship Program

The Arts Council of the Eastern Shore (ACES) is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the cultural enrichment of the people of Accomack and Northampton Counties. Each year the Arts Council is proud to offer scholarships to graduating high school seniors and current college students who are residents of the Eastern Shore and who plan to pursue a career in the arts (e.g., the performing arts, visual arts or arts education). The Arts Council determines the number of recipients and the total scholarship amounts depending on qualifications of the applicants and available funding. The scholarship is awarded to the recipient for the purpose of defraying college tuition, room and board, and textbook expenses. Scholarship recipients will be announced by mid-May. Recipients will have the opportunity to share their artwork at the awards ceremony on June 11 at Ker Place in Onancock.
